I've had an eye for beautiful light since I was very young. When I was nine, my mama bought me a tiny point-and-shoot camera when I begged to take photos like her; I took that thing everywhere until the battery slot broke. A number of years later, my mama taught me how to shoot on her "big camera." I've been hooked ever since.

I have a turnaround time of two weeks for all of my sessions. I try to get your photos out to you as soon as possible while still giving each gallery the time and attention it deserves. I also offer rush options for an additional fee. Reach out for more information. Thank you for your patience. I promise it's worth the wait!

All of your photos will be delivered in a beautiful, digital online gallery format. Instructions on how to view, download, and share your photos will be provided to you through the email you provide me with prior to your session. You are free to print any and all photos in your online gallery.

You will receive your photos on a digital gallery. However, all sessions include a print release. You can easily purchase prints from your online gallery or you may print them on your own. I receive a small kickback from all gallery sales, so I greatly appreciate when you order directly from your gallery!

You are free to wear whatever you like! If you need guidance on what to wear, I am happy to help. Please inquire about adding an outfit change, pet, or specific prop to your session.

No worries! My goal is to provide gentle guidance and prompts to bring out your children's real smiles and giggles. I want you to look back and remember having fun rather than being stressed. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to keep your children entertained and engaged! If your child has a favorite (non-sticky, non-messy!) snack, toy, or stuffed animal that you would like to bring along, you are welcome to.

Please feel free to inquire about a specific photo session request even if you do not see it in my portfolio. My goal is to work together to make your vision come alive.

Upon booking, you will be required to pay a non-refundable 25% retainer fee to hold your session spot. Your retainer is 25% of your total session cost. Your session date and time will NOT be reserved until the retainer is paid.

Should you need to cancel your session, your 25% retainer will not be refunded. Please be mindful of this when booking your session.

If we need to reschedule your session due to weather, illness, etc, please reach out to me and we will find another date and time that work for both of us. I am typically able to fit you in as quickly as possible, but please be aware that no spots are guaranteed.

Photograph and photograph well. When the photography is good, there shouldn't be a need for heavy editing. I love the kind of good, natural light that makes you go, "mmmm." No, I do not deliver RAW, unedited photos to clients. I consider the RAW photos unfinished and an only a representation of half my work. When booking me for your session, you are agreeing to my photos as well as my editing style!

During your session, I make sure to capture a variety of shots which encompass the entire look and feel of you, your children, your business, ect. Following your shoot, I carefully and meticulously choose the photos that BEST reflect this. For this reason, I do not allow you to choose which RAW files you wish for me to edit. However, should you have a specific vision for a photo, please inquire ahead of your shoot, and I will see if this is something we can work together to achieve.

Waxhaw, North Carolina is home for me! I do not charge a travel fee for local shoots, but I do charge a travel fee for locations outside of this range (as determined by me). Please inquire for travel pricing.

I have a variety of beautiful go-to session spots that I have hand-scouted! I will gladly share my favorite spots with you. If you have a specific location that you would like to have your session at, please inquire with me. However, due to lighting situations and access, I cannot guarantee I can hold your session at a specific place.

NOTE: Any and all access fees, parking fees, ect. accrued will be the sole responsibility of the client and reflected on the final invoice.

My editing style is natural, light, and true-to-life. I apply the same amount of post-processing to all of my photos. I am happy to remove small, temporary things such as blemishes, scars, stains, scrapes, ect, but I will not use Photoshop to alter your true look. Please take special care to assure your clothing is pressed and clean before your shoot. I cannot guarantee the removal of any blemish, scar, stain, scrape, ect.

No, my prices are firm and I do not offer sales throughout the year.

Of course! You are welcome to bring a friend or family member to accompany you at your shoot. They are welcome to take behind-the-scenes photos with their phone, but I do not allow anyone else to use a professional camera while I shoot. If you would like another person to be photographed with you during your shoot, please inquire about pricing prior to booking your shoot. I will not photograph another person during the shoot without prior agreement and knowledge.
